About us:

ActivTrades is a global financial brokerage specializing in Forex, CFDs, and Spread Betting. Our clients trade in real time across global markets, so the app they rely on must be fast, reliable, secure, and exceptionally well built.

We’re looking for an experienced iOS Developer to help shape and evolve our trading app. This is a hands-on engineering role where you’ll take ownership of features from concept to release, make architectural decisions that will influence the codebase for years to come, and help set the technical standards for how we build and scale on iOS.

What You'll Do:

Design, build, and ship features across our iOS trading app, from architecture through to release;
Own technical decisions for the projects you work on, and weigh in on the wider iOS codebase and roadmap;
Write clean, well-tested Swift that scales across a growing app and team;
Profile and optimize performance, memory, and responsiveness - in trading, every millisecond is felt;
Collaborate closely with product, design, backend, and QA to define and deliver new features;
Review code, share knowledge, and help raise the engineering bar across the team;
Stay current with new Apple frameworks and tools, and bring in what's genuinely useful.

What You'll Bring:

Strong, hands-on experience with Swift and the iOS SDK;
Comfortable with SwiftUI, UIKit and know when to reach for each;
Practical experience with Xcode and Instruments, including debugging performance and memory issues;
A track record of shipping and maintaining production iOS apps end-to-end;
Solid understanding of app architecture, state management, and how to keep a growing codebase maintainable;
Git fluency and familiarity with good source-control practices - branching, code review, pull requests;
Strong analytical skills, self-organization, and comfort owning problems independently;
Openness to giving and receiving direct, constructive feedback;
Working proficiency in English.

Nice to Have:

Experience with Test-Driven Development and writing unit or UI tests;
Familiarity with CI/CD tooling (Bamboo, Fastlane, GitHub Actions, or similar);
Experience with the Atlassian toolset - JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence;
Background in fintech, trading platforms, or other regulated industries.
