With reference to our location in Sofia currently we are looking for:

Quality Engineer

Your job:

• Defines and specifies activities, processes and standards to ensure that produced materials, components and/or products meet quality requirements.
• Monitors quality indicators (KPIs) for the production department and/or the production line for which they are responsible.
• Observes and controls the quality of production processes and/or output quantities in accordance with defined internal and regulatory standards.
• Actively participates in projects for the introduction of new products and in quality management and improvement projects.
• Takes part in failure analysis and process investigations to identify root causes of defects (Root Cause Analysis).
• Contributes to the development of preventive and corrective actions using the 8D format (8D Report), in close collaboration with internal and external customers.
• Participates in discussions on production-process related issues and provides recommendations for improvement.

Technical Competencies and Requirements:

• Written and spoken English (minimum level B2).
• University degree in engineering; degrees in mechanical engineering fields will be considered an advantage.
• Good computer skills – MS Office; experience with SAP will be considered an advantage.

Professional Competences and Requirements:

• Professional experience in quality: 3–5 years.
• Professional experience in electronics manufacturing will be considered an advantage.
• Professional experience and knowledge of quality management systems and tools (ISO 9001, SPC, FMEA, 8D, LEAN Manufacturing / Six Sigma methodology).
