"Liebherr - Concrete Technology Maritsa" Ltd. was registered at the beginning of July 2021, with the core activity of manufacturing concrete mixer trucks. The company successfully produces fully equipped concrete mixers and components for concrete mixers of exceptionally high quality. The production process is process-oriented and equipped with modern manufacturing machines necessary to meet the highest quality and standards.

We are located in Plovdiv, 40 Kuklensko Shose Blvd (near Plovdiv Customs), and we are looking for a colleague to join our team for the position of:

Strategic Buyer

About the position:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated professional for the Strategic Buyer position, who will take full responsibility for the assigned procurement categories. If you have expertise in strategic purchasing, supplier and contract management, and wish to develop further within an international company, this is your opportunity!

Your Responsibilities:

• Analyze and monitor national and international markets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities at an early stage;
• Build and maintain a supplier portfolio, including selection, qualification, and development of strategic partnerships;
• Prepare requests for quotations and offers, and perform price and value analyses;
• Negotiate contracts and framework agreements to optimize terms, delivery processes, and payment conditions;
• Identify and integrate technological innovations into the purchasing and production process;
• Maintain close collaboration and communication with the headquarters in Austria and other local departments;
• Ensure stable supply chains in cooperation with production and quality management;
• Actively participate in strategic decisions, such as make-or-buy analyses.

Your Profile:

• Completed university degree in a technical field (ideally Industrial Engineering or similar);
• Several years of experience in strategic or technical purchasing, as well as in contract and supplier management;
• Technical understanding and good knowledge of production processes and technical drawings;
• Very good English language skills (written and spoken);
• Very good German language skills, both written and spoken, at a minimum CEFR B2 level (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages);
• Willingness to travel (~20%);
• Excellent communication skills, team spirit, negotiation skills, and resilience;
• Structured and results-oriented working style.

• Very good IT skills;
• Analytical thinking and strong team orientation;
• Physical and mental health appropriate for the position;
• Technically skilled personality with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
