For our team in Sofia we are looking for a Production Manager.

The position reports to the Operations Director of LEM Bulgaria.

The main mission of this person will be to lead and direct all manufacturing & maintenance activities for LEM Bulgaria, to identify opportunities to enhance production operations in order to continuously improve productivity and business growth and to ensure on time delivery to customers and quality conformity of the production.

Main tasks:

• Define and monitor the Production program execution;
• Follow and be responsible for the production lines performance;
• Control production technology compliance;
• Monitor, analyze and communicate production KPIs on basis of ERP data and reports;
• Manage the production budget  preparation and control the cost centers expenditures;
• Lead and participate in projects for Continuous Improvement;
• Ensure that all people-related processes for the Production & Maintenance Teams are  effectively executed;
• Validate work schedules and elaborate competency development programs;
• Participate in recruitment and performance appraisals of  subordinate functions;
• Define and negotiate the best balance between indirect materials cost and quality;
  
• Manage the production internal communication processes.

The profile:

• Engineering University degree;
• At least 10 years’ experience in an international manufacturing company;
• Very good knowledge of production processes, equipment and operations management tools;
• Excellent knowledge of LEAN practices and tools;
• People management experience;
• Good business sense and high customer orientation;
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, strong ability to convince;
• Outstanding analytical and conceptual competences, excellent problem-solving;
• Good knowledge of H&S related standards and legislation;
• Excellent computer literacy (ERP, MS Office, etc);
• Fluency in English.
