For our client - a leading provider of technology services and digital transformation solutions, we are looking for a Data Engineer.  

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data infrastructure solutions;
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and requirements;
• Identify and conceptualize solutions to complex data problems;
• Divide large tasks into smaller, manageable steps and follow through with execution;
• Work independently on small projects and as part of a team on larger initiatives and communicate with stakeholders to understand, document, and fulfill their data requirements;
• Build ETL processes to ingest and transform data from various sources;
• Create and maintain data models for relational databases;
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines for performance and reliability.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role;
• Degree in a relevant bachelor's or master's program (preferably from a program with quantitative coursework – Data Science, Statistics, Econometrics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, etc.;
• Strong analytical skills and communication skills;
• Passion for data analysis and willingness to understand data in the context of the client’s business model and challenges;
• Experience with SQL, Python, Azure (ADF, storage accounts, key vaults, SQL server/DBs) or alternatives in other cloud platforms, Databricks, and working with APIs;
• Experience building ETL processes and working with relational databases.
