Process Maintenance Engineer

Our Bulgarian production unit, established in 2012, now employs nearly 350 people and continues to grow. We specialize in a wide range of optical components and solutions, developed and manufactured by a team of skilled engineers, designers, and technicians.

In addition to our production site, R&M is also represented locally by R&M Bulgaria, which has been active on the market for over 17 years and operates in 12 countries across Southeastern Europe.

We are ambitious, growing, and currently looking for a highly organized, client-oriented, and reliable professional for the position of:

Process Maintenance Engineer

Main responsibilities:

• Daily production support – troubleshooting process & equipment & material;
• Managing production documentation – work, safety, equipment instructions;
• Training production staff & communicating process/ equipment/ material changes;
• Lead or participates in improvement projects – targeting material/ equipment/ process/ cost;
• Production line layout optimization, material flow and individual workplace optimization;
• Support the introduction of new products and processes. 

You are a great fit for this vacancy if you have:

• University degree in Engineering;
• 1-3 years of experience on similar position (as process/ production/ quality/ industrial/maintenance/ project engineer);
• Working level of English - written and verbal.

Would be considered an advantage:

• Knowledge about Lean methodology and tools;
• Knowledge about Statistical process control;
• Knowledge measuring instruments and test equipment;
• Experience with ERP system (SAP is an advantage);
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
