Product Owner – Chemical Engineer

We are looking for a Product Owner – Chemical Engineer to join our team.

In this role, you will own and drive the development of material- and chemistry-based products and components throughout their entire lifecycle. You will translate clinical, user, and business needs into clear product requirements, working closely with R&D, quality, regulatory, and production teams.

The Role:

• For our new production site in Blagoevgrad, we are currently looking for motivated and pro-active professionals for the position of Product Owner Chemical Engineer.

• The ideal candidate would be a self-driven, pro-active, and hands-on individual with strong knowledge in technical documentation and product development processes.

The Job – What you will be doing:

• Ownership of Product Groups: Take full responsibility for designated product groups, focusing on prosthetics and orthotics.
• Complaint Management: Handle complaints from end customers and identify technical solutions. This includes initiating product changes aimed at improving product quality and performance.
• Technical Documentation: Ensure the creation and maintenance of precise technical specifications for products and the materials used in their manufacturing.
• Change Management: Lead the implementation of product changes, managing the entire process from initiation to execution.
• Product Care: Oversee the lifecycle of the products, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with customer needs.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Manufacturing and Quality teams to ensure the delivery of accurate and reliable products to the market.

What are we looking for:

• Completed technical studies in the field of chemical engineering, biochemical engineering, medical engineering (University of Applied Sciences, Technical University) or an equivalent.
• Excellent written and spoken English; German is an advantage.
• At least two years of relevant professional experience, ideally in technical documentation.
• Experience with teamwork and familiarity with project management processes is an advantage.
• Critical and solution-oriented thinking.
• Independent working style with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Working with CAD software is an advantage.
