Corporate Global Demand Planning Planner

In addition to our production site, R&M is also represented locally by R&M Bulgaria, which has been active on the market for over 17 years and operates in 12 countries across Southeastern Europe.  

We are ambitious and continue to grow and we are looking to hire motivated professional for the position of: 

CORPORATE GLOBAL DEMAND PLANNING PLANNER

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and effective workflow between Sales and Operations for our company’s products. You will play a key role in driving continuous improvement of the company-wide Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP / SiOP) process and ensuring high-quality, accurate demand forecasts to support procurement and production planning across our global operations network.

Main responsibilities: 

• Develop and maintain monthly demand forecasts for our company’s products in SAP.
• Analyze forecast deviations, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions;
• Monitor and improve forecast accuracy using KPIs (wMAPE, FCA%, Bias);
• Ensure timely and accurate transfer of demand plans to production and procurement;
• Perform ABC/XYZ analysis and manage phase-in / phase-out processes;
• Facilitate monthly S&OP / SiOP meetings and align demand plans with Market Organizations;
• Identify demand gaps and inventory risks, ensuring executive alignment before forecast transfer;
• Support SAP S/4HANA testing and future system roll-outs;
• Act as Deputy to the Corporate Demand Planning Manager.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Economics, Engineering, or related field;
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain, or similar analytical role in an international environment;
• Experience with S&OP / SiOP processes;
• Strong analytical skills and experience working with KPIs and forecast accuracy metrics;
• Very good knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred);
• Excellent MS Excel skills;
• English – professional working proficiency;
• German – professional working proficiency is an advantage;
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills;
• Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.
