Intern Development Engineer - Electric Motors

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Working in an interdisciplinary team which is responsible for the development of electric motors, actuators and their components under consideration of the related design standards, quality and cost requirements;
• Being part of the team that is carrying out development measurements for new projects - motors, actuators, brakes, encoders, etc.;
• Participation in development/expansion of Measurement Setups in compliance with the internal requirements, product specifications and good practices;
• Participation in developing automation software in National Instruments LabVIEW and Test Stand for the Measurement Setups;
• Participation in analyzing test results in MATLAB or Excel and making reports (Word/PDF) about the tested object(s).

Technical Competences and Requirements:

• Currently studying (Bachelor or Master) in the field of Electronics/Electrical/ Automation/Mechatronics engineering;
• Basic experience with Computer or Embedded programming;
• Basic PC/IT skills – Working with Windows, network, peripherals;
• Experience with National Instruments LabVIEW, National Instruments Test Stand and MATLAB is an advantage;
• Basic knowledge of MS OFFICE - Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
• Knowledge and experience with measurement tools is a plus;
• Good knowledge of English language (level B2 or higher, electrical and mechanical terminology).
